Crap! I've been bummed all week because I had to cancel my Blackbeard's trip I had scheduled for the week for my new job...then I get home and this is on! Looks like I'm really missing out on some GREAT diving. Oh, great video by the way .

thanks for posting this, we leave on Saturday for the Nekton Bahamas trip and I will be shooting video for the first time myself. I am very excited!

Nimar is not real popular due to they have no US based dealers, I saw one of these housings about 3 years ago and thought it was nice and the Price was better than other housing on the market. http://www.nimar.it/Products.html
So I bought it thru direct e-mails with them. They have no problem selling and delivery was a couple weeks. I guess they are made to order. The only thing was you have to pay them thru a wire transfer from your local bank. That's a little scary to send someone money like that but they were professional the whole way. I've had no problems with the equipment and they alway responed to the e-mails. It would just take a day becasue they are in Italy.
I just added the little spot flashlights (3w LED's) they just came out with for night dives so I don't have to hold the camera and a dive light. Once again they sold me what I wanted and delivery was timely.
I really like the see thru housing and I love the mirrow for seeing the screen.

The camera is a little negative with the lights and battery and a little positive with them off for day diving.

Thanks for the info and the recommendation. One of these days I would like to have a setup for video. Maybe after I get my house paid for my wife will let me.

The turtle did attack me I'm guessing. I put the camera at his mouth to block his mouth because it was open when he turned on me. His mouth was big enough to bite my arm off. If I didn't have the camera I don't know what I would have done if he turned on me like that. But If I didn't have a camera I wouldn't have followed after him.
