Bahamas (July/Aug)- Exposure Suit?

We just got back from a week-long liveaboard trip to Medio Reef, Bahamas on the Nekton Pilot. My wife and I each had a 1 mm full suit and were never chilled. Our computers showed the water temp at 81-83F. Most people dived in 3mm, but it ranged from just a swimsuit to 5mm.

I have attached a nice little scuba bag packing list that my wife made up. I hope it helps.

I'd suggest taking 2-3 swim suits made of the quick dry material. It's nice to put on a dry suit prior to the next dive because you'll often be checking your gear, listening to dive briefings and various other things Always being in a wet suit gets old and can cause crotch rot or diaper rash or whatever else you want to call it.
