Thanks everyone, my wife has a interest in going next February. I'm not too sold on Barbados, but guess that I'll
let her have her way. We've been to 12 different Caribbean islands, but not Barbados - so far!

So, it sounds like it could be alright, not great.

We just got back from Barbados diving with Blue water divers (Hilton on site op). First the negatives - pricy for Caribbean, lots of new divers quickly running out of air, cattle boat, 8 divers to a guide group and I had to push hard to make the guides understand that we paid for full 60 mins dive. On the other hand the shop paid our taxi rides on the way in and staff was nice enough to drop us off afterwards (we stayed in a private villa in Holy town 20 minutes away). Pristine reefs, abundant life although mostly juveniles, moray and some critters. Typical Caribbean style diving, would do it again if I am in the area but Cozumel is still the best bang for the buck...

Looks like decent vis. Thanks for the info on the dive op.
