Anyone know the conditions there. Is there any open water yet? Just got my suit fixed so im looking for soem easy dive sites.

thanks alot guys. Thats what i suspected but with the warm weather the past week you never know.
 
The ice can actually go fairly quickly this late in the season. We noticed the ice yesterday at Kirkfield was still about 14" thick, but the ice had weakened and had started to become porous. This was probably due to the fluctuating temperatures we saw over the past couple of weeks. It was far more easy to saw through compared to the ice at the beginning of Feb.
