Just got back from Cocoview, kept all my batteries in checked and had no issues.

Same here. They did clip me for a butane disposable lighter in my carry on, though.

Cool. I know every time we go on a dive trip, we are confronted with this issue. Some places seem to want to confiscate batteries.

We spent a week on Roatan getting back June 6th. Rechargable camera battery was in carry-on as well as some small flashlights with disposable batteries. No issues at all.

Same experience during my trip in March. I had 3 rechargeable camera batteries, 2 rechargeable dive light batteries, plus my big canister light and its battery in my carryon (battery is the size of a big cucumber)...no issues at all.
