I travel with one of 2. I have a Mares Icon - I LOVE THIS BCD. Good lift, folds up into very small and light package, comfy in water, light weight. T also have an Aqualung Balance, which doesn't fold up as well as Mares Icon and isn't as light, but travels well just the same. Scubapro LightHawk is a pretty good travel BCD, good lift, rugged as hell. NEVER rent....I never rent. Trust factor! Hope you find something that works well for you!
