The rain bands have arrived but we are all snug and safe behind shutters, computing with a battery-backup UPS (just in case), fed and showered, with a 'frig full of beer.

And I wheeled the propane grill to a safe spot in case I have to start cooking thawing losters...

I most definitely will schedule a Saturday beach dive if the visibility is OK.

Well it looks like this storm is gust going to be alot of rain and some wind. We need a brake after the last two years.

We've had far worse rainstorms recently than what I'm experiencing at the moment (near the beach just S. of Fort Lauderdale International Airport).
