Become a PADI dive instructor at PADI IDC center Oceans 5 Gili Air. The next PADI Instructor development course takes place the 16th of January. The PADI Course Directors will be Joeri van Hal and Sander Buis.
PADI 5 star Career Development Center
Oceans 5 is a PADI 5 star Career Development Center, the highest raking of PADI for dive centers. The PADI 5 Star Career Development Center (CDC) award is given to PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centers (IDC) that dedicate their businesses to professional development beyond regular instructor training. These businesses offer vocational oriented continuing education training to prepare individuals for dive industry careers and provide job placement services within the dive industry. PADI Members and the dive industry at large benefit from the PADI 5 Star Career Development Centers commitment to professional development and excellence, and their unique ability to provide qualified candidates to fill industry employment needs.
PADI Instructor Development Course Gili Islands
The PADI Instructor Development Course at Oceans 5 is a 12-13 days program conducted by our 2 in the house PADI Course Directors Joeri van Hal and Sander Buis. Together they made an IDC program where the candidates will become confident dive instructors. They will reach this goal by giving extra free workshops, like control workshop, positioning of the instructor and divemaster, RDP and more....
Joeri and Sander don't like to teach to pass the candidates the IDC. Joeri's philosophy is "I teach to make the instructors, I don't teach for let them pass an exam"
The IDC will be held in a huge AC-ed classroom with a coffee corner. The confined session will be done in one of the two especially designed training pools for scuba diving. And the Open water session are only 5 min away from the dive shop.
Gili Air, Gili Islands, Indonesia
Gili Air is part of the famous Gili Islands. Just situated 2 hours away by fast boat from Bali on the North West side of Lombok. The Gili Islands are so famous because there are no motorized transports. We have our local taxi, the horse cart, or bike. Gili Air is not famous for the party crowed as Gili Trawangan. It is a bit more quiet but more beautiful. This is one of the main advantages of doing your PADI IDC on Gili Air where there is less distractions and you can concentrate more to achieve your dream to become a PADI dive instructor.
