For an unguided dive up on the west end we've always liked Honolua Bay. We leave the windows in the rental car rolled down so the thieves can see there isn't anything worth stealing inside. It's a shortish hike and while looking at the ocean we prefer the left side but others like the right side better. Can't really get past 40feet deep out there unless you're in the middle in the sand or around the outside
