Suya have been in existence for quite a while, but only entered the diving market relatively recently. Evidently they still have a lot to learn. You did well to switch to AquaDives which these days is indeed a very professional organisation with some excellent staff; others that would have served you equally well include Amigos del Mar (the "gold standard" here) and Ecologic among the bigger operations, and Chuck n' Robbie and Belize Diving Adventures in those that are smaller. Not to say that there aren't other operations that I'd also dive with, but these are perhaps the main ones. I hope to experience Carlos' operation way north at Tranquility Bay soon, and have high hopes of them!
