I booked the Sheraton which is the "host" hotel where much of the action is. The deadline for the convention rate had passed, so the reservations specialist looked to see what else he could find, and he came back with a price that was $20 of the convention rate..lol

If you want to book it ask for the OLDCASTLE rate.

Hi Everyone,
We are still looking for anyone who would like to volunteer to help the ScubaBoard booth at Beneath the Sea. I have a schedule and am looking for 1 more person to meet and greet people at the booth. You will get a free t-shirt for helping and we will have drinks at the booth for you. Not to mention we are having a great contest for the volunteers, the volunteer who signs up the most new registered users during the show gets a $50 gift certificate to Indian Valley Scuba Indian Valley Scuba
This will be on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested please PM me with your personal email or email me muggsy at scubaboard.com so I can send you information on working the ScubaBoard booth. Either way if you can't volunteer at least stop by the booth and introduce yourself and get a username badge and a new ScubaBoard sticker and come hang out. The shift I am looking to get help with is as follows...

Could anyone tell me about either the "Meet the Fish and Famous" reception, Diver of the Year Reception or the Scuba Hall of Fame Party? I can't find anything about these events on their website.

Meet the Fish and Famous is a benefit event for the WestChester Medical for the Children's Hospital. There is an auction and elbow rubbing with scuba celebrities.

Hall of Fame Party is scheduled for the same time as what used to be the Cayman Island Decompression Party, imagine it is the Saturday night bash with a new name.
