I was wondering what are some great places to dive with kids (13 & 15). We have been to Cozumel and loved the shallower dive sites and was looking for another place to go. Thanks

Roatan - Anthony's Key
Fiesta Premier - Costa Rica - this is a really good place for kids your age. They have a disco on site, and really, they never need to leave the resort to have fun (well, unless you want to do some of the fun extras like the canopy tours which are awesome).

Welcome to the board.
Curacao and Bonaire are both great choices.

The upper FL keys is a great place to dive with kids. The currents are generally mild (however they can get strong) and the dives are almost never great than 45feet with a lot of dives in the 20-30foot range. The marine life is excellent with an abundance of fish, and the coral is beautiful.

The dives are all boat dives so that adds some expense. However I enjoy boats, as do many. The downside of the Keys in general is the lack of nice beaches. However there is no shortage of activities to keep the whole family busy. After a day of diving generally lounging around the pool, getting some good eats, and relaxing in the condo is enough for me, but a trip down to Key West for a day off is a good time as is a trip to the everglades.

Enjoy,

The Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California. Everything you'll want to see will be in less than 40 feet of water. Warm water is nice but it's temperate water that has the life. There's nothing like swimming under the canopy of a mature kelp bed and seeing the sun light come through or having sea lions dive bomb you doing rolls like rockets making you realize how much you can laugh with a regulator in your mouth. My son and I have enjoyed warm water multiple times but nothing beats the diving we have right here. Plus when it comes to kids, cost adds up and even with this seasons prices we can get four dives for $105/pp and that includes Air and Food on boats like the Spectre and the Peace out of Ventura, CA
