cool, sounds really good, how long are you on the boat before hitting the water, is it far ?.

Molasses is a keeper!!

Another vote for Molasses. A lot of pelagic life comes in there. We saw an eagle ray and a couple of sharks. Visibility was about 35 ft when we were there in late June and that was considered poor. Reef Adventures, the shop which operates from within Pennekamp had a good deal on a three trip package, $180 for full equipment. The ticket is good for a year if you can't use all three right now.

Looe Key was also good although visibility was only about 20 ft. This was our first dive after OW and we were struggling a bit so we didn't see as much but several people mentioned seeing various grouper including goliath and a hammer head was reported. The shop down there offering three tank dives didn't have any space the first day and cancelled the second because of wind. We used Underseas on Big Pine and JB was a huge help to a couple of novices when it came to getting rental equipment and general advice.

The City of Washington and North North Dry Rocks French wall and of course the Benwood for evening dives is really cool.

molasses(eagle ray alley, winchhole, permit ledge-firecoral caves and the deep buoys)!!!! in my view, arguably, the best viz(stronger currents as a result), healthiest soft and hard coral structures, fish densities and pelagic sightings of any reef tract(including carysfort) outside of the dry tortugas,,,,,,,,,,,,,

A vote for Horseshoe Reef, City of Washington, North North Dry Rocks and certainly SILENT WORLD DIVE CHARTERS!!! Hook up with Pat or Keith as a guide and you are GUARANTEED to have a great time and be very comfortable in the water!

North North Dry Rocks and the Benwood are my favorites along with Silent World... Even without a guide in the water you'll have a blast with them.. NN Dry Rocks is very shallow with huge brain coral and tremendous amounts of fan corals..

Dang, when is my next trip down there???:bounce4::daydreaming:

Sombrero Reef can also be a lot of fun if you are in the middle keys.
