That's very resourceful of you. There are commercial versions made for drying regular boots and gloves, but it's nice to see DIY versions.

The key is not to use heat but just blow air and you'll never damage the neoprene.

The one I have has two plastic corrugated pipes that fit into the boots and run off a 9 volt supply. I no longer see my model on Amazon but it's made by DryGuy.

Though this is an old thread, always new information comes to light.
I've read, don't know where, that neoprene is not friend of ozone. Electric dryers moved with an electric motor that produces sparks (DC or both current electric motors) do produce ozone.
Fortunately the dryer I did has an AC brushless motor, so, the amount of ozone it produces should be zero.
 
Stuff boots with old newspapers, change regularly, - an old climbers trick.
