Planning on doing the night dive with Force-E on December 13th. Any tips or advice? I don't have a light besides a small one, nor do I have a lighted dive flag like you need. Can they be rented? Thanks.

Force-E might rent lights (call the shop to confirm) or invest in one of those $50 varieties that use four C-cell batteries: that sort of light will work well at BHB. I've dove with a small light that only uses two AA cell batteries in the past, but I know my way around the site and am fairly sure I would not have been comfortable diving with just a little light had I not known the site fairly well. For the lighted dive flag, just attach a glow stick with a zip tie to your flag: the glow sticks run a buck or two at Force-E. If you don't own a dive flag, Force-E can rent one to you, but if you plan much shore diving, it'd be worth buying one.
