Bud and I, very novice, plan on diving this site for the first time on Sat... around 2pm when High tide is. Anyone interested in joining us?

Use this site to get your tide information - high tide is not at 2:00. If you go at 2:00 it will be a bad day.

This site does a really good job of explaining the dos and don'ts of BHB.

I could be persuaded to do BHB. It's a fun dive and you can make an AL80 last over 2 hours since its only 20 ft. Because of that I'll try to be ready to get wet at 12:15 or so, so I can split the tide b/w incoming and outgoing.

Ok... one site says HT is at 1:02 and the other says 3:11. ???

If your looking at the tide table at the BHB page look at the date & year
The year is still 2008 not 2009 that were your getting 3:11 PM high tide
The 1:02 is for 2009 .that means we have to be in the water by
12:15 PM - 12:30 PM
If I am incorrect some-one place correct me .I am learning more as I dive more
