Have there been any studies which have investigated the body's ability to off-gas more effectively over time?
In other words, is there any evidence that the human body can become accustomed to ridding itself of excess nitrogen?

I would think that physics would preclude the possibility of this.

Actually there has been. It is called "Acclimation". I have put some relevant articles on the AddHelium.com website under "AddHelium Resource Library". The references are posted on page 2.

The phenomena is poorly understood. However, if you give any credence to bubble studies, it has been demonstrated that your are scoring lower diving the same profile on subsequent days.

Enjoy the read!
