Goodness gracious y'all. Chill. Rented a SUV (the made in China one), both times when in Bonaire. Leave car unlocked, leave glove compartment unlocked -car rentals say to do that. Never had anything stolen. Left unopened water bottle, Cokes, mesh dive bag, paperbacks, cookies, T-shirts, $20 in the seat pocket, bikini bottom and lots of sand. Nobody took anything but I think someone sniffed the bikini. Bonaire is very very safe. If someone steals a dive book it is divers not locals. Do what i do - bring piece of paper. Love Bonaire.
 
Yeah, no need to go to ebay for those pre-worn bikinis placed in airtight ziplock bags right after it is worn.:wink:
