Can anyone suggest me a useful book about dive sites in the Red Sea?

DutchDown:
Sure can: Red Sea Reef Guide by Helmut Debelius. I sleep with my copy under my pillow.

Debelius book is indeed a very good one - for the fauna in the Red Sea. However there is very limited information on dive sites in it.

I would instead reccomend Red Sea Diving Guide by Andrea Ghisotti and Alessandro Carletti. It covers many areas and is fairly accurate.

cheers

I guess I'll need a bigger pillow! I want a copy of this book as well!

if you're after a book with just the dive sites around Sharm, the the Sharm EL Sheikh diving guide by Alberto Siliotti is excellent. It's spiral bound and has pull out 3D dive maps of each of the sites.

When we were out there just about everyone had a copy, and they're used by the DM's when they do their dive briefings.

The ISBN is : 977 304 000 3
