Hola and Buenos Dias From East Tennessee.

New diver here fulfilling a lifelong ambition to dive. 36 logged dives to this point and eager to learn all I can to keep myself and my buddy safe.

Any and all advice/comments welcome as I embark on this new adventure. I'll see you guys around.

Like said... get as many dives under your belt (safely) and learn as much as possible. Been diving since 1990 and member of PSD Team. Get good instruction and read up on things. There is a wealth of information out there that you can read during your "surface intervals". Don't exceed your limits!

If unsure don't dive, better to skip a dive than get someone hurt. Conditions can change quickly and get out of hand. Make sure you and your equipment are prepped for the dive you are attempting. Know your dive buddy and have a good plan. Know before hand what you are going to do if you get separated, have an equipment issue, get pulled off course, etc. Like said above dive experience and instruction are key but be sure to use common sense, planning and communication.
