Wow this is an old thread! I had an instructor candidate working with me with breast implants about 8 to 10 years ago. She was too proud of them...Created many problems NDR

Joe
Problems, such as guys reaching for her octo and "accidently" grabbing something else?

that's more along the lines of a crime than a problem

i think from what cuda wrote that she was on the "vain" side

S%$t All

I struggled with a marriage for 2 years after after the event...Never want to go there again...I checked out the commodities. Bad scene for instructors

Joe

yes, this makes no sense at all

From DAN website: (http://diversalertnetwork.org/medical/faq/faq.asp?faqid=178)

Are Breast Implants an Issue?
Saline-filled breast implants are neutrally buoyant. Silicone implants are negatively buoyant and may therefore to some degree affect buoyancy and trim. Constrictive chest straps or buoyancy compensators may cause irritation and discomfort around the surgical area or on the implants and should therefore be avoided. Breast implants are not a contraindication to diving and should not pose undue risk.
