Just a quick follow up.
Definitely don't use a doubles wing with a single tank adapter. The buoyancy characteristics and trim are horrible. If you will use single tanks, get the single tank wing (example Pioneer) and the size of the BCD should match the lift you need (don't get a Pioneer 45 for aluminum 80s etc.). At 5th D you will get hooked up big time, and they know their stuff (Andrew Georgitsis is there and he is the training director for GUE)
When you go to doubles (if you do) repeat the same process in choosing the right wing for your doubles. You will still need your single tank wing, so you will be in good shape, but you can keep the exact same BP and harness and just switch it over. That will save you some money already.
