Hi all! I've been lurking the boards since April this year and finally decided to create an account and post once I became CERTIFIED!!! YAHOOO! I completed my PADI OWD certification last weekend at a local quarry and I'm ready to go diving in the Carribbean in a few weeks. I look forward to meeting other Chicagoans for lake or quarry diving in the future.

See ya around SB!

Congratulations! Enjoy your trip and dive safe. When you're back, and ready to enjoy the "Carribbean of the Midwest" - put a post on the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew. A lot of us dive Haigh and you'll be welcomed to come along.

Awesome. Will do! I haven't dove/dived Haigh quarry yet as I was certified at Pearl Lake so I'm looking forward to checking out that site. Thanks!

Thank you for your warm greets everyone!

ppo2, I live very close to you! I'm in the Wheaton area. :)

Cool. We can car pool to the quarry sometime. That is if you don't mind the permanent smell of wet dive gear in my car. :)
