Dee [ QUOTE=tarponchik;6208917]Thanks again. We like to have a choice, to go on a boat or shore dive instead. So these places you mentioned, The Siesta Suites and Mar De Cortez, they are close to some dive shops?[/QUOTE]

Greetings!
My wife and I are seriously considering a trip over spring break, March 23-30, give or take a few days. We have never been to the peninsula and are looking at a dive trip, no night life, just getting wet! We are into both big and small stuff, however next on our list is to dive with sea lions. We understand the gulf may be the best for this. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hey Wader, We have a Sea Lions Colony here at Lands End and its a great Dive Site because we see the Sea Lions, Last Rock and the Ship Wreck all on one Dive Max depth is 60 feet. Mircro Life here is awsome. Diving in the East Cape is very tricky until summer sets in because of the wind and surf. Im sure you will be happy Diving here on the walls and at Lands End.
Let me know if you need any more info.
