Hello ocean lovers!
Just a reminder that the last Lionfish Derby of our summer series is THIS Saturday, September 8th! Come and out and participate in this great event to help keep lionfish off our reefs! It is $120.00 to register a team of 4. Captains meeting is Friday at 6:30PM at Coconuts in Key Largo. One member from each team must be present at the Captains meeting and will receive a free pair of gloves to handle lionfish. Lionfish collection starts at sunrise Saturday morning and all lionfish must be turned in by 5:00PM. Judging and lionfish ceviche tasting are from 5-7PM! So come out and enjoy the fun and help protect our reefs!
