Looking to do some diving/camping at White Star in the spring. Have been diving but never camped there. Are there showers anywhere on site? If not, are there any other campgrounds in the area that do have showers? Also, it says on the campground website that they sell firewood for $5 a "bundle." Is it an adequate amount or am I better of finding some elsewhere?

find it somewhere else. I have never seen wood there. There arent showers atleast that I know of. Bring a 5 gallon jug of water and hang it from a tree.

Not suppose to transport wood from county to county---that's the law!

Not too worried about transporting EAB with wood from a silver maple cut down in my back yard.

Saw the Eagle Lake site, but it doesn't say anything about showers that I saw either.

Nevermind. Saw on their site that they have a locker room/shower. That looks like the way to go.

Denny, I think that was suspended a year or so ago. It wasn't working. I'll double check on it, tho.

Well,if it's not true any more, I could easily supply the wood for the campfire at M & G if I had a way of getting it there. Oh wait; Do you think Mike would allow that?----NOT!!
