Hi all,
I am a newbie to UW photography so please bear with me.

I've "inherited" a set of equipment consisting of S90 Canon in Ikelite housing with a single Ikelite DS51 strobe using the EV manual controller. Picture below:

Tray, handle and arm are exactly the same as picture above.

I need to get a new strobe as the Ikelite DS51 is dead due to flooding.

My question is can I use either Inon's S2000 or D2000 with the housing and still retain Inon's TTL capability?
I have read that you can use fiber optic cable to achieve this, can somebody confirm this?
How do you exactly achieve this? Because the housing doesn't have any port.
What about the arm? Can I use the Ikelite arm to hold the Inon strobe?

Sorry if my questions have been discussed before, I simply dont know enough about UW photog to understand the discussion in this forum, so I would really appreciate it if someone can answer my questions in layman terms.

Thanks in advanced.

Regards,
BPW

Hey Ozzi,

Thanks for the suggestion, the thing is I live in Indonesia and it will take around two months to get it fixed by Ikelite in the states and sent back to me.
I am leaving for Lembeh next week and would really like to bring a strobe.

BPW
