I've been printing for about a year with the Cannon S820D and I still can't believe how good the results are. I'm sold on the six seperate ink cartridges.
 
Thanks for the replies! By the way, both printers I listed have the seperate ink cartridges, and both boast a 2 picoliter ink drop size.
 
The biggest problem is that both Canon and especially Epson (but especially Canon) hire monkeys as interns and then have them write the drivers.

Epson for photo, Canon for general purpose.

I hear if you FedEx banannas to the tech depts, you can get custom drivers.
