Good Afternoon,
I want help about a problem with capturing.My setup is as follows.Camera :SONY HANDYCAM HDR-HCIE PAL. Capture software Cyberlink Power Director 16{64-bit }.When connect the camera with the fire wire nothing happens .computer system windows 10 .I want to take the camera on a holiday which could be the last one and for this reason I want to solv this problem.

I believe I've heard that Win 10 does not have native support for firewire but there is an add-on for it. Anyone who knows for certain please confirm or correct. I never had much luck with Cyberpunk Power Director and use Vegas Movie Studio myself.

I've read that also -
Windows 10 64bit won't recognize my camcorder via firewire.

I vaguely recollect it being fixed in a Win10 maintenance release but I'm not sure.

I use Vegas also - there should be a free download if you want to try it b4 you buy it. VEGAS Movie Studio
