McNetts (now Gear Aid)
They suggest UV Tech Protectant & Conditioner.

gamble (the repair guy) recommends this as well. i have never heard of it. not sure if avail in canada

Thanks I just blew Pepsi out my nose

The stuff sold in bulk is veterinary anal lube—for bovines, generally.

Jack, that is interesting, as I bought my bottle in December, and it reads "Made in USA"...
More info please. Bought where? What brand on label, McNett’s or Gear Aid? Might just be old inventory.

It is McNetts, and bought online from a German dive shop. I see no immediate way how to find out when it was produced, the bottle is not dated. Basically all German dive shops still sell it, so I somewhat doubt that all this is old inventory.

I have never figured out that company. It is now Gear Aid in the US, but I think the McNett’s name might still be used elsewhere. I also used to see Seal Saver displayed at their DEMA booth, but was told it was not available in the US any longer. So back to my original comment that while isn’t sold in the US, you seem to have confirmed it is elsewhere.

Yes, I am just wondering why they would not sell in the US when proudly printing "Made in USA" and the Stars and Stripes onto the bottles. But, who knows, marketing...

This seems to be a little known agent in the diving community but a well known chemical in the boating and Aviation world, 303 Aerospace plastic , Vinyl, and rubber protectant. It not only protects from UV rays but it also restores plastic, Vinyl, and rubber compounds. It’s pricey but a little goes a long way and if you spray your suit and seals down let it hang and dry , the next time you donn your suit even dry no lube / talc at all it’s like you just took a bath in sex lube it slips on so easy. Also it’s water Soluble so if you have to do a repair on your wet/Drysuit all you gotta do is clean it with some soap n water and the glue sticks with no troubles.

Strange, Steve Gamble recommended to me nothing but pure unscented talc. Keep the suit climate controlled, out of sunlight, and away from any type of ozone generating devices.
