Cases For Dive Lights

What does everyone use for transporting their HID canister lights to the dive site? I'm looking at the Sea Life SL949 hard case. This might be overkill, but I don't want to risk damage to my new Light Monkey 21W HID. Any other options, or is this my best choice?

I have a pelican 1500 case for my 21w HID, I can fit the light, charger and 2 of the Light Monkey 3w backups (Salvo Rat). It is nice because I can toss it in my car and not worry about breaking anything. When traveling I had a spare padded
Akona bag laying around that I'm using. I'm not sure what it's intended purpose was but it fits my lights and regs nicely.

i use a fl gators coozie on the head & put it in the big box with the rest of the stuff.

but my sweetie has a pelican-type box for his lights & another for his computers & another for his o2 analyzer, so it depends on your personal type-a-ness, i guess.

I just toss mine in my milk crate, or have it pre-attached to my kit, or chuck it into the back of the truck or on the passenger-side floor. I bang it, bump it, abuse it - heck, I'd use it as a hammer if I needed to. However, my light is an old 21w Salvo (probably built from the original stolen Halcyon parts), so YMMV.
