I found these eggs in several spots in Casino Point on Saturday, May 29th, in depths from 25 to 70 feet. I asked some other divers what kind of eggs they were and one person suggested Wavy Turban Snail eggs.

The first picture has brown speckles on the eggs and the second has a dark spot at the distal end of the eggs. Perhaps they are two different species. I would appreciate any information you may have. Thanks.

I would send a pm to Dr. Bill. He'll know.

Both are the eggs of the Kellett whelk, a common snail in our waters.
