No I don't. If I had to guess, I would say rock. There are a series of (i think - been a long time) 5 large cutouts in the cliff wall of the "lake" The largest is huge, and they get progressively smaller (I have numerous photo's of the openings, I will look for them). Other mines I have dove, of that era, that were mineral mines, like quartz, have much smaller openings. earlier in the century, mining operations focused efforts on mining only the vein. This is great for us because it leaves us with sites that are like diving through swiss cheese.novadiver:bakerston? do you know what they mined there? and Thanks for the info on HD.
