A French cave diver died last Thursday after failing to resurface at Font Estramar, a resurgence near Perpignan in the South of France.
Jean-Luc Armengaud, 52, began a dive at 9:00pm. When he did not resurface by 1:00am, his companion alerted emergency services.
Fire department divers attending the scene soon recovered the body, about 6 meters (20 feet) deep.
Not the first death to occur at the site, divers perished in two previous incidents. One in 1955 and another in 2008.
A volunteer firefighter himself, Jean-Luc had two children aged 16 and 21.

So sad anytime we lose a diver. Please post if you learn anything further.
