Possible, but unlikely......It's common for teeth to break along the 'center' line ( it's a weak point)....The majority of 'splits' as they're called break that way....Unscrupulous dealers will file two halves, glue them and sell them as 'whole'........Unless you know what to look for, it's easy to be fooled.........

In fact I once discovered a barge that carried molasses just off the beach in Bradenton. Who ever would have believed such a thing???
