the number one cause of public safety death is the MI( heart attack) when someone drowns did he have a heart attack and drown or drown and have a cardiac arrest like the chicken and the egg who knows. this is why a full face mask on every dive is a must for psd . the ffm will yes keep you warmer and give you communication as well a increased visability( if there is any) but the number on reason for a ffm is get this guys a dry airway if you go unconsious and unresponsive and are brought to the surface a dry airway is a real plus in your survival if you dont believe me ask any doctor, rt,emt or medic which one they want to work a wet airway or a dry one. our mission is to get back what we put in the water be it ourself or a team mate so lets give us all a fighting chance and stop sport diving in psd. always dive a ffm.
