Soon I will leave for the Philippines, and I will stay 6 days in Malapascua
I have AOW, that is max. 30m .No additional specialties like Nitrox, etc.
I planned to make about 10 dives, that is more or less 2 per day
Now I would like to choose the many possible dives and excursions

I summarized above the diving spots as reported in the website (I like it, quite complete and clear)
I plan to do

- Monad Shoal 26m+ / 20 mins --> thresher sharks
- Gato Island - have to choose which dive
- Lighthouse - mandarin fish
- Bantigi - Macro
- Kimud Shoal - hammerheads (but the season is almost over, I will be there at the end of May)
- pioneer wreck - if possible, japanese ship of the second world war (without penetrating inside)

I would not be sure that YOU will decide on which spot you will go. It is up to the organiser but you can always express wishes. I have never been to Malapascua, but from what I read the must are the tresher sharks.

True, but I must say I saw also the contrary happen. In some cases people take for granted that what they are offered is the only possible spot. While often the organizers are simply offering something they think will meet your needs. They could easily bring you somewhere else, if you only ask them

We are in agreement. Read what I wrote, it is roughly the same :drunks:

The Pioneer wreck is in 110m. The likely named Mogami Maru, which is erroneously labelled the Pioneer, is in 55m so a tech decompression dive only.

Kimud may or may not be on offer, depending on whether Hammerheads have recently been seen.

I would look to do a dive site called Bogtong Bato or Deep Rock by some dive shops

Thank you very much, I appreciate
I see you must be an instructor in a dive shop down there, perhaps I will stop by for a beer
Not before dives and I will offer of course
