Christmas Party - Free Beer!

CHUM is holding it's 1st Anniversary and Christmas Bash at the St Arnold's Brewery in Houston this Thursday (Dec 1), 7 pm - 10 pm. We've rented out the brewery, so there's a door charge of $25 (or $20 in advance), but after that the beer is free for the duration.

All are welcome, any of you Swampers who live in the Houston area and want to meet up with a bunch of other divers in the area, we'd be glad to see you.

We'll have a White Elephant Seal gift exchange, a Christmas Scuba costume contest and, of course, beer. For the non drinkers, St Arnold's do a fine root beer.

It was quite fun My hubby and I ended up spiking our root beer w/ Captain Morgans, since we don't drink beer . The gift exchange was great - I ended up with a Bonaire book, which is perferct since I'm the person coordinating the club trip there (wonder if that gift was planted??? ). Then there was live music by our club president and treasurer and singing by various club members. Lots of people brought dishes of food, so there was lots of variety there as well.
