Hello all, I just aquired a set of Worthington 130 cold galvanized steel tanks. They were set up as doubles and have a white film left over from the bands. What is the best way to clean it off?

Benefits of registering include
Worthington only cold galvanized lp77's. These are hot dipped galvanized tanks and the white areas are where the zinc has oxidized. Rubbing compound, scotchbrite pads, or steel wool will remove them, but in my opinion that would be a mistake. You will also be removing some ot the protection the zinc gives your tanks. Do what you want, just giving fair warning.
Sounds like a damn good plan to meLess cleaning more diving!
