Coast Guard Cutter Healy Deaths

There are not many facts known about this tragic incident yet. The Coast Guard is a very small service and the number of divers within the Coast Guard community is smaller yet. The accident happened Thursday afternoon on 8/17/2006.

Coast Guard Divers train alongside Navy Divers at the Navy Diving School in Florida.

Thoughts and prayers are with the families and fellow Coast Guard Divers.

I hope we hear more on this. Not much information about a possible cause in the article. I wonder if a F.O.I.A. request might provide more details?
