Sorry to hear that you got weathered out. I was there in early to mid April and had a similar experience with the wind. After two days of diving it got too rough to go back out the rest of the week.

Although restaurant recommendations are too late for you this trip, I thought I’d go ahead and share what we found. Palapa is a good spot for over water for getting drinks. Blue Water Grill has good more upscale food. The Islands Jungle Restaurant and Bar is a nice laid back place for food and drinks without breaking the bank. Neri’s Taco in town is a local focused restaurant with good breakfast options at great prices. We eventually just started getting pork and chicken tacos at some of the road side stands for breakfast each morning.

Booked with Reef Adventures...

Amigo Del Mar never replied to multiple email/VM requests?

How'd you like Reef Advantures? Ched is awesome.

Amigos del Mar, only used them to take me to the blue hole on the cattle boat.
