Hi All,

Does anyone use a Compair 5405 for continuous blending? Any hints or tips? Also, does anyone know of a sensible source for a solenoid or similar to cut the O2 supply in the event of the compressor stopping.

Thanks

John

You can use a solenoid something like this to shut off the oxygen flow from the regulator.

Obviously check/clean for oxygen service, even though it's on the low pressure side.

Tie it in line to one leg of the 220 circuit powering up the compressor motor and the oxygen won't flow unless the compressor is on.

As far as continuous blending, there shouldn't be anything special there, other than verifying/changing the oil to synthetic and keeping the oxygen content reasonable (~36%).

So what search should I do on ebay for the solenoid (I'm in the UK so need a 230v control, unless you guys reckon low voltage is the way forward).

Thanks

John
