Yeah, it lets me do it, then when I turn it back on, it is locked out. If I pull the battery, it works one time again. I was hoping it was something I needed to do in the ap. I liked the cootwo, but it has been sitting on the shelf for years
There's a setting somewhere where you can reset the Cootwo. You could try that. Also perhaps the sensor expired. You could try changing the date to a year ago perhaps it may accept the sensor then.

I think @DandyDon recently opined that the Sensorcon sensors are not ideal for scuba application.
I use one. Actually I wear it everywhere clipped to my cargo pocket as I am leery about air today. For scuba, get the lowest priced model, carry it in a one-gallon zip lock, fill the bag from the tank, and give it a minute. It may not be accurate, more like +10, but it'll alert you to dangerous levels.

Yep, that is what I need. I haven't found it in the menu, I was guessing it was in the app.

I have both the iOS App and the manual in pdf format, But I have no idea how to get the App out or how you can put it on you iOS device. I thought you can only download apps from the Apple Store. I can send the manual if that would help.

So I tried to buy the calibration gas and checked out and paid with credit card, then next day they're issuing me a refund and they say they can't ship to a house.

You can overcome the nuisance warning but setting the date of the clock in the Cootwo into the past (using the App).

If the app is no longer in the Apple store then it is not easy to get it. You need to find someone with the app and then use specialist software to copy it between devices.

If all else fails borrow an Android phone to get the calibration done as it is relatively easy to install .apk onto Android devices.

I bought my calibration gas from Grainger supply and had it shipped to a local store for pickup. This eliminates shipping fees and the issues with regulations on delivering to a residential address. Assuming you have a Grainger nearby, you can get a can for about $40. I’ve used the gas below with a torch head from Lowe’s to calibrate my Cootwo.

We have a local Grainger store, but when I tried to buy it I was told they don't sell to individuals only to businesses. Fortunately I have a corporation from my medical work, so I was able to open an account with my corporation, and ordered it to pick up at the local store. To calibrate the Cootwo I need 20 ppm CO gas. When I get that I'll have to put a propane torch end on it and will rig up a hose as someone suggested.

I had no problems when I bought my cal gas but that’s been a couple years ago. They must’ve changed their policies, so thank you for the heads up.

Well, that would (not) be interesting...

The adjustable regulators are pretty cheap on Amazon and other sources...
