TDI BASIC NITROX COURSE (North Texas)

Are you interested in learning how to use Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) as your breathing gas to extend your bottom times and improve your safety while diving? Then the TDI BASIC NITROX course is for you!

From the TDI Website, the course is described as “the entry level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixtures from 22 to 40% oxygen content.”

What you will get is a complete understanding of what Nitrox does for you, how it affects your physiology, how to plan repeatitive dives using Nitrox, how to analyze your breathing mixture, and much more. Basic Nitrox is also the jumping off point for many advanced certifications including Advanced Nitrox/Decompression Procedures, Rebreather, Extended Range, and many others. If you are planning to do more with your diving than just go look at fish, or you want to look at the fish for that much longer, then this class is a must!

Your instructor is Ron Carlo, a very accomplished diving instructor who places a greater emphasis on your diving education than just teaching you “yet another scuba class.” Ron has been teaching for many years and has developed a style that will ensure that you not only know the material, but had fun learning it.

Cost of the course is just $75.00. No dives are required.
