Reality is it takes money to run programs like those offered by JMC and Ocean Futures or JYC and TCS. Why even a man of unquestioned integrity like myself would gladly serve as a spokesman for (almost) any group willing to give me $100K a year so I could fund my video and print marine education projects.

Like oldest sons in many families, JMC may have had some difficulties with his father. However, those difficulties were reconciled between the two of them before JYC died.

The television show on NOVA last week about caleurpa pinpointed that the invasion of the weed into the ocean started 100 feet from the wall of the aquarium in france that j. cousteau was curator of. It mentioned that the aquarium would never admit fault due to the political ramifications involved with allocationing causation of the ecological disaster in the mediterranean to j. cousteau. Interesting in the very least!

Once an invasive species gets a firm foothold in an ecology like this species has done, assigning "blame" becomes of little importance.
