I haven't been able to find these crabs in the creature ID book. These crabs were on the rocks on the shoreline. The first two photos are from Bonaire; the other two were taken at Cocoview in Roatan. Any help is much appreciated.

So these are land crabs, not sea crabs? I wouldn't expect to see them in the critter book.
Nice pix.
What sizes?
ID can be helped with a picture from above, to show the shell shape.

Blue Land Crab (Cardisoma guanhumi)

Beautiful pictures.

They're Sally Lightfoot crabs, Percnon sp. You see them all over the Caribbean, in varying colors, on the rocks along the shore, and on dock pilings. There are other similar Sally Lightfoot species in other oceans. Cardisoma guanhumi is a much larger land crab that's pretty drab.
