Location
Germany, then to Virginia in July 04, Army
Morning from Germany. I am Marc, Marc I am!
Subaquatic Diving Center in Umag, Croatia is great. Goran runs the show. Yugoslavian Paratrooper that "left" during the war. Good guy and Divemaster.
He told me they found a B-17 in about 23 meters of water, once they get the GPS, they will start diving it. Costs you about 475 Kuna (5 to 1 US buck). Nice boat and equipiment. Choice of suits 5-7mm. I wore the 5mm, Adriatic is, hell, compaired to Colorado Rocky water it was a bathtub.
He has 3 wreaks, all WWll. Just a real good time.
You have to buy a Croatian diving permit for 100 kuna, but that is part of the 475. Food is great, beer wonderful. Try the Union from Slovinia or the PAN. Don't show up drunk or you not going to dive.
I am at dogs1954@hotmail and will return to the US 24JUL04 after a 3 year tour with Uncle Sugar.
Oh, seen the Rolex notes. Bought one in 1977, SF thing you know, still works, cost me two paychecks as an E-4 in the Army. Still works, have done nothing to it but wear it. K-mart made a $15 waterproof watch, they work great too. Get a hell of a regulator for the price of a Rolex.
Got 1 year left in the Army, then the big 3-zero and civilian life. Take care, Marc

Howdy!
