Hi Folks,

Putting the order in tomorrow so time for 1 last question:

D1 or D1 Cold?

Home waters never get colder than about 60F but..........

We travel a lot and who knows where those travels will take us? So is it worth investing in the cold reg now or is it extra hassle at rebuild time that just isn't warrented?

Is the normal D1 an enviromentally sealed unit anyway (please excuse ignorance - still learning lots!) and the Cold add on is an addtional unsulator.

Which ever way this goes we can't wait to get our HOG gear!

No - the cold is sealed, the 'normal' D1 isn't

Personally I'd get the cold, why not. You never know where you'll be diving in the future. Cheaper than finding out you want a new reg later

he can just upgrade a D1 to a D1 Cold if needed down the road as well. I have the parts

Well I went with the D1 cold reg.

Figured why not now than later and it seals it as well.

Order just place with Dive right in Scuba who have been as helpful as HOG!

Looking forward to new toys!! :D
