I would wait for their new D6I version, it's much nicer for scuba with the extra nitrox mixes.
That actually crossed my mind lol... Shearwater Teric.. but the cost...Take the opportunity to join the Shearwater clan.
when is it comming?I would wait for their new D6I version, it's much nicer for scuba with the extra nitrox mixes.
I have seen it in person but haven't dive with it yet.
Screen - Coloured - not as bright as i though it would be - but would be sufficient to see the info in a wreck.
Functionality - very similar to D4/d6
User interface - An upgrade from D4/D6 - 3 buttons - need to get use to that.
Algorithm - New algo - Suuunto Rgbm fused - better than the algo in D4/D6(what i heard from)
Material - no change - not even a sapphire glass for a dive computer unlike in D6i or Dx
Strap - you can change the strap with the new quick adjust system - could be good or bad depend on your perspective.
Battery life - According to Suuuto home page, 6-12 hrs - need to be sent back to Suuunto shop to replace the rechargable battery now - does not mention about when should you send the computer back to change the battery.
