Not so much an ask as a tell.

For anyone looking to change their elastomer strap, having bought the kit, the extremely small fixing is a bit annoying because you may not have anything in your tool kit small enough to open what is best described by me as a "6 sided star bolt". It is TINY!

I removed it with a "T6" sized star wrench. I hope that translates to US tool speak but that is certainly the European fitting! Mine came in a small set from "Machine Mart" about £9 for the set.

It just may help someone!

My D6 is strapped onto my D-ring now because I have not managed to unscrew this - it's extremely annoying. Thanks for the tip!

I wish someone would design/release a decent non-branded alternative for the Suunto D6 and D9 straps. Grrrrr.....
